BWCoach How To

When you are in the game lobby, you already know which map you're gonna play on. Therefore you can select a training file that might contain specific build orders for that map. To do that without leaving the lobby, simply press the F6 multiple times until you see the training file name you want. During the game you can still press F6 to select a different training file.

If your opponent choses a race in the game lobby, select the correct matchup by pressing F7 multiple times.

The current training file and matchup will be displayed on the top left corner of the screen untill the game starts.

Once the game is started, BWCoach information will be displayed as showed on the following screen. If your opponent race was Random, wait until you scout him and select the correct match up by pressing F7 multiple times. Once the correct matchup is selected, you can cycle through the different build orders using the F8 key.

When all of that is done, you're all set. BWCoach will start messaging you with advice and build order actions as needed.

Single Player Mode : when the game is over press F11 for a second. The "BWCoach On..." message should appear back on the top left corner.
Multi Player Mode : when the game is over, there is nothing to do, BWCoach will detect it.

If the goal completion key (F9) was enabled, BWCoach will automatically load the result file in the Charts page for you to see how well (or not) you performed against the ideal build order.

Replays: Coaching, alerts, APM and timer are automatically disabled when watching replays. However, if you watch a replay in Single Player mode and exit the replay before the end, press F11 to tell BWCoach the game is over.

NB: you can disable coaching and alerts for the current game by pressing the Pause key.
