08/30/04 BWChart 1.03A : in Korean and Chinese !

Summer is always full of surprises. I hope you guys had a good time in the sun. Meanwhile, Waxangel has been working like a horse (hum yeah well, almost) to translate your favorite SC tool from English to Korean, while our beloved Emlary and her friend SeBASTa were working on the Chinese translation. And there it is, looking so cool with all those cute little symbols that I wish I could understand.

There is still only one executable for all BWChart users. Korean, Chinese and English are all included in the BWChart executable. The right language should be selected automatically according to the language on your system. A bit of testing was done on Win98 and WinXP but of course we havent tried all kinds of Windows settings around there, so if you have a problem with this version, something like it appears in Korean when all you know is Spanish, then feel free to send me a little email.

You can force one language using the command line options: -english for english, -korean for korean, -chinese for chinese. But be aware that the korean and chinese characters will not appear correctly if your operating system is not set to display DBCS characters in Korean or Chinese.

Edit 08/26/04: version 1.03A of today includes a new selector in the options screen to select the language.

One last thing, you will notice a new combo box on the Charts screen to select the APM curve style. It ranges from "Very Flat" to "Very Dynamic" and is quite self-explanatory. Give it a try.
